Stay at the Harp at Old Radnor

You can stay in one of six comfortable guest rooms. We don’t have dedicated single rooms, but any of our rooms can be booked for single occupancy, subject to availability. Our rooms are often booked for family gatherings, reunions, weddings, or groups attending local events like the Royal Welsh Show, Hay Festival, or the Vintage Sports Car Club Welsh Weekend.

Five rooms have views of the hills, while one overlooks the garden and grazing sheep. All rooms have small flatscreen TVs with Freeview and free Wi-Fi. Please note, our rooms are not wheelchair accessible. Room rates include a cooked breakfast, served from 8 am to 9 am (earlier if needed), and packed lunches are available for walkers or riders on request.

To encourage longer stays, we offer discounts for stays of 3 nights or more, or a dinner-inclusive package.

We welcome well-behaved dogs in the bar and rooms (not on the furniture) for a £15 cleaning fee per dog. We provide bowls, towels, and treats, and can recommend dog-friendly walks.

A deposit is required when booking, varying based on the number of rooms, nights, and guests. This deposit is refundable if you cancel 24hrs before your stay. For dinner, it’s best to book in advance.

Room 3 has a double bed, two single beds and an ensuite shower room (walk in shower, no bath)

Room 4 has a double bed and an ensuite bathroom (bath with shower over)

Room 5 has a wrought-iron double bed, a single bed and an en-suite bathroom (bath with hand held shower over)
